MAKE SURE TO RELAX YOUR MUSCLES AND BE SURE THAT YOUR MEASURING TAPE IS HELD SNUGLY, BUT NOT PULLED TIGHT. LOOK TO SEE THAT THE TAPE MEASURE IS HORIZONTAL TO THE GROUND. MEASURE AGAINST THE SKIN FOR BEST READING. ROUND UP TO THE NEAREST HALF INCH.
WAIST:
PLACE YOUR HAND ON YOUR HIP AND BEND TOWARDS THE SAME SIDE. THE DEEPEST WRINKLE INDICATES YOUR WAIST LEVEL, AND IS USUALLY AT OR SLIGHTLY ABOVE YOUR BELLY BUTTON. MAKE SURE THAT YOUR MEASURING TAPE IS LEVEL WITH THE GROUND AND IS HELD SNUGLY, BUT NOT PULLED TOO TIGHT. MEASURE AGAINST THE SKIN AND DO NOT SUCK-IN FOR BEST RESULTS. ROUND UP TO THE NEAREST HALF INCH.
